Every woman on the planet is familiar with the beauty giant Sephora. Regular Radio AMB listeners also recently became familiar with the video blogger – vlogger – who is a senior makeup artist at Sephora and a Sephora University Beauty Class facilitator who regularly vlogs about what’s hot and what’s not. Christina Vega graduated from Lia Schorr Institute, took her newly acquired beautician license and went to work at Sephora as a makeup artist. That was in 2008. Soon enough, she became the face of the Personal Beauty Advisor campaign.
Vega believes in merging inner and outer beauty to create an outlet for women to use makeup more easily. She does makeup and light hair styling for weddings, fashion shows, movies and music videos. She’s done makeovers to raise money for the American Cancer Society, Relay for Life and Light the Night. And since losing her mother several years ago, she also spends each Mother’s Day doing makeup for the homeless.
Christina Vega talked with Radio AMB guest host Alicia Benkovich about beauty, natural products, about educating Sephora staff on how to use each product that comes into the beauty chain, and how recording all about it helps consumers, too. Makeup. Beauty. It’s all pretty important. Take a listen.
