Keri Davis-Duffy is the president and co-owner of two powerful entities in the beauty industry: Gila Rut Aveda Salons and Beauty Backbone. She started her career more than 25 years ago as a hair stylist in San Diego and soon became a multi-salon owner. Her salons remain renowned for being both role models for business leaders and for setting the stage for trends. Her teams are as comfortable designing hair and makeup collections for New York and Los Angeles fashion weeks as they are styling the local community. Why? Maybe it’s the passion she has for beauty and for ensuring that passion is reflected in her business.
She’s a world-respected educator’s educator, and her Gila Rut Aveda Salons have been named one of the fastest growing salons in America six times. Now, with Beauty Backbone she is committed to helping other stylists and salons grow through education, coaching and on-site support, all to align beauty and business.
Keri sits down with Radio AMB guest host Dean White to discuss how she got to where she is, how others can follow her lead, and what having a Beauty Backbone means for stylists everywhere.
We think you might hear something pretty important.
